Dear Patient, Thank you very much for your question. Nocturnal emission is absolutely normal in men. You do not have to worry about it at all. Since you are young and do not have an active sexual life you can experience nocturnal emission that can be triggered by sexual dreams in many cases. However, it is absolutely normal and physiological condition in men. Therefore, there are no side effects of nocturnal emission. No treatment is needed. So do not worry about it. Relax and enjoy your life. Good luck! Dr. Dinesh Nuwan Weerasinghe. MD
