my 44 yr old niece has a non healing post episiotomy ulcer. she tells me she has a hole on the right side. during childbirth she had a bilateral episiotomy. she has consulted with numerous gyn s with no positive answer. one physician told her that the ob-gyn may have stitched her uterine lining to the episiotomy site. she has extremely painful cycles and is seeking advise. she lives in India. I have asked to her to see a Uro-Gyn or a colo-rectal surgeon. How can this condition be rectified? Should she undergo STD testing as well as squamous cell carcinoma? She just underwent FNASP which was benign. Kindly advise. Thanks
