Dear doctor, I have a two year old daughter who has had a couple of frightening nosebleeds today and has had symptoms of acute bronchitis for three days. What precautions should I take if this is a virus and should I be alarmed about anything? Thanks.
bronchitis does not present with nose bleeds . children usually rub their dry nose which leads to mucosal erosion . this further leads to bleeding . xylometazoline nasal drops - 2 drops two times per day for 5 days will relieve the bleeding episodes .
