Had l5-s1 fusion 8 years ago. Lifted heavy object 3 weeks ago, felt pop with severe pain that has gotten some better but pain is still bad. Now I have numbness in left leg down to foot and toes. What should I do? ER now or call doctor in am? Phil
Hi welcome to health care magic . After going through your query I think there is prolapse disc. You need radiograph and mri of spine to diagnose prolapse disc. You require strict bed rest for some days, hot fomentation, analgesics, and spinal brace support if pain severe enough. Hope your query has been answered. Thanks.
