Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Tongue And Lips And Loss Of Taste Due To Usage Of Tobacco
Dr, I have been smoking for almost 5 years and using Afzal (smokeless tobacco) for 4 years. 3 months ago, i started using Gutka, I know it is a bad thing, but it helped me in easing some of my crohn's disease symptoms. Now I have weird feelings all over my mouth ( Hard tongue, numb tongue and lips, loss of the taste of salt) could this be a sign of cancer?

Cancer occurs in particular spots. If there is a new growth that has abnormal sensation, that is certainly a cause for concern. changes in sensation over a wide area are caused by things that can also cause cancer, but is not a sign of cancer itself.
