i went to sleep one night and i think i was sleeping on my hands. i sleep on my stomach and im pretty sure they were tucked up under me when i woke up. now i have a problem with my left hand going numb when i hold it in certain positions while im awake and i continue to wake up with my hands numb. they almost feel a bit swollen as well as numb when i wake up. what should i do? is there anyway to fix it?

Hello, Thanks for your query. Most probable reason for your symptoms could be postural . It either presses against the nerves or reduces the blood supply to the local area causing numbness. Another possibility could be pinched nerve at cervical spine. You can take multi vitamin supplements consisting of pyridoxine, methyl cobalamine with pregabalin. This supplements will help you in the prevention of symptoms. Along with these you need to have nutritious diet consisting of fruits and green leafy vegetables and more fluids
