Suggest Treatment For Obstruction In Throat After Swallowing A Tablet

Hi. Roughly 20 hours ago I dry swallowed an ibruprophen. It began dissolving behind my tonsil. I drank water but I am still in pain and can t swallow. Liquid and food is torture and I can t sleep. At first it kept making me throw up but now I just keep burping. I can t seem to dislodge it or I might possibly have cut myself trying to get it out. Help.

you probably have injured posterior part of your tongue or a cavity (space)behind it i.e. vallecula. you need an e.n.t. consultation to have an endoscopic evaluation of that area
