Suggest Treatment For Open Sores On Legs And Stomach
My sixteen year old has some open sores on her legs and now one on her stomach. It started a week ago with just two little bumps that looked like mosquito bites. She was out of town with her friend for the past week. She returned home today and has quite a few of them on her leg and a couple on her other leg and now one on her stomach. A couple of them are pretty nasty looking and turning a dark color. She went and bought Caladryl lotion and the pharmacist told her it looked like a milde case of chicken pox. She had the vaccination. Can she still get chicken pox and might they start on the legs? I thought they normally start on the back or stomach. Going to try to get her into the doctor tomorrow to have her looked at.
She might be suffering from irritant dermatitis. topical antibiotic and systemic antibiotics is required to treat the condition. Since you are saying that she was out of town last week and it appears when she was there then it might be a case of BLISTER BEETLE DERMATITIS. Nevertheless in both the cases treatment remains the same.
Hope it helps. If you have any other question please do not hesitate to contact us.
