Suggest Treatment For Oral Thrush

i have an infection of thrush. what would be my first line of action. I am 66, a male and use Advair. I developed this last Thursday and have a sore spot in the throat and a red spot in the back of the mouth and the infection in the back of the mouth and throat.

Thanks for the query..

If you have Oral thrush and a history of using Advair that contains Fluticasone Propionate that is a steroid and is commonly seen to cause oral yeast infection known as Oral Thrush..

So my suggestion is to first of all consult your Physician to check if he can reduce the doses of Advair so that the symptoms will become less severe..

For now start gargling with Nystatin mouthwash that is an antifungal composition..
Suck Clotrimazole Lozenges..
Eat plenty of probiotics like Yogurt..
Gargle thoroughly with water after using Advair..
