Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cyst And Heavy Vaginal Bleeding
I have been bleeding excessively for a few months now. I am on the implanon for birth control and my menstrual cycles have been right since. I went to the er about a month ago and the doc found a 3cm sized cyst on my right ovary. He said they normally go away and not to stress it. Well vaginal bleeding has stopped, but rectal bleeding started every time I go to the bathroom. I had a cyst the size of a grapefruit when I was 13 and the doc drained it. I also have a bruise Slightly to the left of my right hip bone that I feel a little knot under. What s going on with me?
Ovarian cysts are common and may be single, multiple or may occur as a part of a polycystic ovarian syndrome. Also, hormonal imbalance may cause ovarian cysts which are in most cases small and asymptomatic but sometimes may cause symptoms and require specific treatment especially if cysts are larger than 5 cm, bleeding cysts, torsioned or ruptured. The surgical treatment is required. Also, if there is polycystic syndrome as the underlying cause then hormonal therapy is indicated. Pain is usually placed deep in the pelvis on the affected side and may be associated with nausea and fever. To diagnose exactly the type, you should do an ultrasound and vaginal examination.
