An ultrasound revealed that within the left ovary is a 4.1 x 3 x 4.6 cm cyst with an irregular peripheral margin and a suggestion of peripheral mural nodularity, though no definite blood flow identified. Going in for a MRI.. Almost 50 years old. your thoughts??
Ovarian cyst in this age group always carries a chance for cancerous growth. It is better to go for surgical removal. Consult a gynaecologist and he will direct you accordingly.
