Hi I had my lower right wisdom tooth removed Thursday. I can see inside the socket and am still in pain so think I have dry socket. Is there anyway I can self medicate as I literally cannot get to the dentist until Friday at least? I am also experiencing a sore throat and dry cough, is this related? Many thanks
The pain you are experiencing may be dry socket. You can take non-steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs and metronidazole for pain and relief and to reduce infection. You may experience sore throat due to it but I doubt about dry cough.
Hi, I have gone through your query, the symptoms u described are of dry socket. You should visit to dentist if it is not possible right now so you can clean (rinse) that part by the solution of betadine and hydrogen peroxide. Take both the solutions in small quantity. Also take antibiotics Tab. Augmentin 625 mg TDS Tab. Flozen-AA. s-o-s Tab. Goldstar. OD
For 3days.
