Suggest Treatment For Pain And Discomfort In The Ear

I have had pressure (like something is pushing in on my ear cananl, irritation inside, and sharp pain in my right ear off and on for a few months, no drainage, but it happens through out the day and it s very uncomfortable but it is inside my ear and sore. My ear Dr says it may be TMJ because I am missing 2 of my back teeth on the bottom? I have no fluid in there I have been told. Do you know what it maybe or how I can fix it? I did have sever ear infections when I was young and had tubes in my ears from the time I was 2 till 12 years of age and I am 42 now.

Read yor query pain in ear can be due to Tmj disorder as your doctor has mentioned . Tmj is temoporomandibular joint which connects temporal to mandible (jaw bone ) . Its disorder is TMD temoporomandibular disorder . For this I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for examination of movements of joints and if there any clicking sound or pain present .

Inmeantime Avoid excessive mouth opening . Take soft diet . Do hot formentation . You can take medicine like Myospaz forte for pain by consulting with local doctor .
