Suggest Treatment For Pain And Discomfort In The Eyes
Hi, my husband has been complaining of eye pain. He said it feels like someone is pushing on his eyes. This has been happening since yesterday afternoon. He is now at work and say along with the eye pain he is now getting a migrain headache. We are not sure what could be causing this, can you help?
There might be several reasons for eye pain a few common causes might be:
1) Any refractive error which cause him to strain a lot and as a result cause eye pain. 2) A serious condition called glaucoma which may be easily treated if caught in the earlier stages. The eye pain is due to an increase in the pressure of the eye. 3) It may be migraine itself which is also accompanied by eye pain. 4) Lack of sleep or stress.
I would suggest you visit an eye specialist to diagnose the cause accurately.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. M. Shahbaz
