Suggest Treatment For Pain And Numbness In Leg.

I recently was horseback riding and the horse got too close to a tree. My leg got too close to the tree and banged it pretty hard. There is a bruise around where my leg was impacted, but the area (it's slightly raised) where it scraped/hit has very little feeling in it if I lightly touch it. I have two questions: What should I do to keep doing the aching/hurting and should I be concerned about the numbness?

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

You should know that the numbness in your leg could be related to a pinched or damaged nerve in this area, probably caused by the trauma.
Coming to this point, I would recommend taking ibuprofen for the pain. If the numbness persists, I recommend performing a nerve conduction study.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
