Suggest Treatment For Pain And Soreness In The Testicle
My left testicle is very sore, the pain radiates into my left inner thigh down to my knee. The ache is debilitating. I m 62 yrs old, recently suffered a back strain which has prevented me from working for the past 5 weeks; I m due to have an MRI tomorrow. Could this soreness be a result of the back problem?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your history of soreness in the left testicle radiating through the left inner thigh to the knee. The ache is debilitating and had suffered from back strain. The character and the reference of the pain indicate that this is is most probably due to Neural involvement of the sensory nerve supplying the said area. You have to tell the MRI personnel the exact symptoms that you have so that they can help to find where the problem is and how much is the nerve compression. Till then take strict bed rest. Lumbar traction sometimes help. MRI will give further guidance for the treatment under the care of a Neurosurgeon.
