Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi there, my neck is incredibly stiff and hurts really bad when I try to turn it from side to side, backwards, frontwards or turning it. The pain is tight in my neck on both the right and left sides. It feels like it needs to be cracked to release the pain, but I can t move my head far enough to do so.
Hello, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having pain and stiffness of neck mainly on movements. It may be due to cervical spondylosis. It can be confirmed by x-rays of cervical spine. MRI of cervical spine rule out other causes. Neck exercises, Diacerine, glucosamine sulfate, neurotropics such as methycobalamin and analgesics such as ibuprofen give relief. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
