My name is Bonnie, I'm 46 years old. five foot 5 inches tall, and weigh about 130. I have been feeling not like myself since Sept of 2011, physically feel like I'm dying. No energy at all, not much of an appetiate. In Nov of 2011, my husband was finally able to get us medical insurance so I was on the phone, looking for a good doctor close to home. I found a NP right in my same town. I first saw her on Nov 8, 2011. I gave her a list of things wrong as mentioned above. She told me we'd start with some tests for the physical symtoms that I was experiencing, she aso said I think you need some help with depression? She was right on with that, as I had been suffering with alot of depression since my Dad was killed 8-7-09, then my Auntie whom I was very close to was killed in a motorcycle wreck on 8-6-09, then her Daughter my first cousin died at the age of 25 on 12-27-2010, from complications of diabetes. Anyway, yes I needed help with depression. Thank God for that wonderful NP, mentally I'm on the right path! Physically has been a nightmare. First anemia, NP says I must be bleeding somewhere inside, orders many test, most come back with something minor wrong, so I had a urethra stricture dialation on 12-6-2011, a week later terrible yeast infection, then couple days go by, terrible vaginitis, then anemia getting a bit better, still feeling like crap. Then Jan 2, I start bleeding thought it was my period that I had missed the last couple of months. First day of cycle normal, 2nd day heavier bleeding no cramping at all, 3rd day blood was alot heavier, with a few big clots, soaking a pad every 1/2 hr to 1 hr, the forth day I go see my NP she does a vaginal exam and blood was running everywhere. She said you need to go to the ER, so my daughter comes 1/2 hr away and gets me to the ER another 1/2 hour away. Then I get a new DR a young OB/GYN she seems to know what shes doing. Suggested D&C after 2 ultra sounds and vaginal exam again. Go in for procedure right away, wake up after D&C, felt fine but a little head ache. After quite sometime got up to use the bathroom, and couldn't walk with out shaking. Mainly my legs but my Daughter said my head and arms were shakeing too. So after 3 days in the hospital shaking stopped after day 2, I get to go home, being told I had a very bad reaction to anelstesia. Been home now 5 days, day 2, 3, and 4, was pretty good. I had alot of energy and got alot done that I hadn't felt good enough to do for along time. OOps back up a minute, on day 2 dr calls says I need to be treated for Group B strep. Started me on amoxicillin 500 mg twice a day for 7 days. Today not feeling so well, my stomach hurts, and is very swollen. I hope I can sleep tonight. Any advice?
