Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Hand Due To Ant Bite

my son was bit by an ant this evening before dinner and by bedtime the lymph gland in his armpit was swollen. He just woke up now, after being asleep for about 2 hours, and his armpit is pretty swollen and extremely painful. I had put some hydrocortisone cream on the ant bite in hopes that it would help but I guess it didn t do much. Should I take him to the ER or should I wait until the morning and see his pediatrician?

Going by the description of ant bite and if it is possible take him to the ER.Meanwhile give him ibuprofen and do ice fomentation.You can him tablet.Avil or any other cold medicine like sinarest
