Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Testicle

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...There was swelling in my left testicle and some pain also. Now the swelling has reduced and only little remains, but there is pain while walking and sitting. the pain is on the extreme left side of the testicle and next to the penis.

Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

The symptoms are that of severe epididymo-orchitis.
I would suggest you hte following:
- Get a clinical evaluation and physical examination done by a general Surgeon or Urologist.
- Ultrasonography and color doppler of the scrotum and abdomen also for genitourinary system.
-Tests of urine, and blood.

The treatment is :
-Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory as prescribed by your Doctor.
-Plenty of oral fluids.
-Bed rest.
-scrotal support.

Regular review by a Doctor is very important.
