Suggest Treatment For Pain Caused As A Side Effect Of Xarelto Intake

How long should side effects from the xaralto last. What do you do for the side effect of pain? If all vitals are good and everything checks out should you real worry much about pain. This is in a person who is 88 and also middle stages of memory loss.

Hi There

Xarelto is an anticoagulant used in patients having DVT ,Pulmonary Embolism and non valvular atrial Fibrilataion (rhythm disorder).

Half life of xarelto is 5-9 hours depends on the age. Patient can have pains , lethargy as a side effect and a Tramadol can be given SOS.

It depends on the patient if he has DVT then some other set of medication will be given for the claudication management.

I would like to know detailed medical history of your patient so that I can help you with. Get back to me with details.

Good Luck
Dr. Navneet Mahajan
