Suggest Treatment For Pain During Intercourse After An Episiotomy
Hello, I had an episiotomy 22 months ago and still experiencing discomfort. My GYN said everything looks fine but after having my son am seem to have more frequent vaginal discharge, yeast infection, pain during and after intercourse and discomfort in the perineum. Should I get a second opinion?
It may sometimes happen after episiotomy. 22 months is enough time for an episiotomy to heel up. Now the pain may be tight scar. So, try lubricant and different posture during intercourse, If all these fails, then you may need scar excision (surgical procedure) to make the introitus little wider.
