Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 60 year old male who has degenerative disc disease. I have had two surgeries each on my neck and back. my problem is my calfs hurt constantly. this has been going on for years. I have one stent in my right leg and resently had an utrasound on both legs coming back negative. In 1986 I had a blood clot in my lung which I assume came from my legs. I had achilles tendon surgery in 1998. My calf pain is getting worse by the day. If I stand for more than 4 hours I cannot walk for two days without tremendous pain to both calfs, I have no life because of this pain. I cannot find a solution, my pain doctor has done numerous tests but cannot understand why I am in this much pain.
