Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely muscle strain or sprain. But if you have severe pain and restriction of motion on any point a x ray should be taken to rule out that. For strain/sprain you can have a short period of rest like 3 to 5 days. NSAIDs like ketoprofen and muscle relaxants like thiocolchicoside will be helpful in this. Applying ice packs initially for 3 days followed by hot water bag application will be helpful also in painful points.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
