Suggest Treatment For Pain In Knees

I have been told I need bilateral knees replacements. the surgeon say s I am to young. I am 53 and have not been able to lead my life I am unable to walk nor stand for periods. of time. he say s it is because of the warrenty. Heck in 20 years I will not care. It is the 20 yrs. of life I can have. Thank you. In pain from California.

Hello,

I would recommend performing knee replacement surgery, even though you are too young. You may need another surgery after 20 years, to replace your prothesis but you will still be young again (73 years old is not considered a high risk surgery). You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
