Suggest Treatment For Pain In Lower Half Of Finger

I smashed my ring finger a few months ago and it is not getting better the lower half of my finger and knuckle is large, kinda purplish and warm to the touch and painful on touch. I wore a splint for over a month when it first occurred but has not improved.

It would help if you ask your doctor to investigate the cause of the pain and swelling.Ruling out Rheumatoid Arthritis,autoimmune disorders and other forms of arthritis would be required,this would lead to a specific diagnosis and treatment.
