I am having episodic pain in the front of my neck (right side, mostly) with severe pain from the inner ear, especially when swallowing. Each episode of pain is brief but can recur several times in just a few minutes. Sometimes the pain radiates into the clavicle and other times is accompanied by a scratchy throat. I have no fever and nothing appears to be swollen in the neck. Could this be tonsils, thyroid or just regular muscle pain?
Hello.. I advise you to get a clinical examination done by ENT Surgeon to check for any inner ear problem or swollen tonsils.. If required he will get some blood workup and scans or xrays.. For temporary pain relief use paracetamol... If you have anymore doubts I would be happy to answer..
