Suggest Treatment For Pain In Neck And Throat

Hi I have been sick for a little over a week with pain on the left side of my throat and very bad pain on the outside of my neck on the left side. The pain goes under my tongue and up the side of my face and head which I know it s not from teeth infection. I have dentures. I went to a Mexican store today and I saw something called BIOAMPIXILINA and something called AMPITREXYL. I was told these are antibiotics. Is that true and would it be ok to take them

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pain in neck and throat. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like tonsillitis , sublingual gland infection , dental infection and muscle strain , but in your case the symptoms are probably due to tonsillitis . Kindly get yourself examined by a ENT Specialist as you will require antibiotics like amoxicillin or penicillin and analgesics. Kindly don't panic as it is a common condition. Tonsillitis is most often caused by a common cold virus, but other viral and bacterial infections can also be the cause. In addition to Medications, you will require Home care remedies. Get adequate rest, Drink plenty of water to keep the throat moist and prevent dehydration. Warm liquids like tea or warm water with honey and do salt water gargles several times as day. AMPITREXYL is ssome kind of natural antibiotics , which should be taken after consultation with doctor .
