Suggest Treatment For Pain In Penis After An Injury
My son got hit in his penis a few days ago by a soccer ball and unfortunately in the next two three days has again been hit while playing around. There is no discoloration but his penis is slightly erect and he is complaining of pain. What should I do?
Painful erection indicates priapism, which can occasionally happen after trauma. Try giving some analgesics like acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain relief. If the erection persists beyond 4-5 hours, kindly take him to doctor, as we will have to assess blood flow to the penis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
