Suggest Treatment For Pain In Shoulder Blade

Hello, I was on vacation and got a kink on my left shoulder blade. Going on 3 weeks now and sometimes affects my deep breathing. I m using a heating pad . And sometimes it just hurts to lay on my back. Norco, codeine,naproxen, I B profin do not work for the pain. What should I do?

Hello,Thanks for your query.After going through your query I came to know that you may be suffering from muscular pain .Treatment of it is rest and analgesics (diclofenac /ibuprofen ). Sometimes strong analgesic(such as ultracet three times a day after meals) is required.I treat my patients of muscular pain not responding to normal treatment by injection triamcilone locally. Consulting with treating doctor is advised before taking it . You can your test x-ray done to exclude lung related causes.You I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
