Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Left Shoulder That Is Recurrent
Hi my question is i wake up this morning with pain in my left shoulder it last a few houds then go away for a few hours then come back while i was watching tv then i touched my shoulder and it was cool i figured because of the a/c and fan rubing it was painful and i took some pills and it goes away should I go yo the doctor?
I understand your concern and would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and a shoulder X-ray study and a cervical spine X-ray study, coupled with inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR). It could be just local inflammation or bursitis. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
