Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Lower Left Abdomen

I have persistent pain in my lower left abdominal/inguinal area. Kind of right where I think my ovary would be, maybe? I had my first baby via c-section (after 24 hr of labor) 10 months ago with a normal recovery. I had the Mirena IUD inserted at 8 weeks postpartum and have had no issues until now beside the normal scar tissue discomfort and numbness around the incision . I quit breastfeeding 2 months ago. I dont have a bladder/kidney infection currently or any issues with urinating. It is not made worse by having sex per say, but does get worse with certain movements or exertion. The worst part of the pain is centralized to that area but radiates to a lesser degree into my groin area only on the left side. What could it be? Should I be worried?

welcome to Health care magic.
1.It can be post operative site inflammation / infection, uterine and ovarian pathology, physical stress on the post operative site.
2.To come to conclusion one has to examine the post operative site, and an ultrasound abdomen pelvis to make sure the IUD is in place, presence and absence of any ovarian pathology.
3.Since its only 10 months post operative, you minimise giving stress on the stitch area.
4.To evaluate the things you have to get the minimal investigations mentioned.
5.Yes, you have to worry, because its better to evaluate early that wait till it gets worst / complicated.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
