Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Operated Knee

I had total knee replacement 5 years ago. I have experienced some pain in the knee for the past 3 weeks. I thought it would go away. I have never had pain since the surgery. I have a hard time bending the knee. The pain is no where as severe as before the surgery.

Hello,

The pain 5 years after a knee replacement can be related to scarring or implant displacement. You need to get an X-ray done and consult your orthopedician for an examination.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Praveen Tayal,
