Suggest Treatment For Pain In Throat And Violent Sneezes

The pain in my throat started after a violent sneeze. afterwards it felt like my throat locked up and started having pain around the neck and larynx when swallowing. I went to urgent care and a strep test came back negative but the Dr said my throat looked enflamed and prescibed me a course of Z pack.. earlier today while swallowing I heard a pop and my throat started to hurt even more. what is this? pulled throat muscles, vius or bacteria/ thanks

The pain in throat started after a violent sneeze. afterwards it felt like my throat locked up and started having pain around the neck and larynx when swallowing.
This indicates the strain on the muscles of the Laryngo-pharynx.
More than the antibiotics you need anti-inflammatory medicines with painkiller property.
Get an opinion of an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, Endoscopy and MRI of the neck.
Strict bed rest and voice rest and liquids only.
