Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I crashed longboarding (skateboarding) down a hill and I fell on rocks. The impact was so hard I actually bounced, but the very first thing I hit was just below my knee where the top of the shin bone is. I perfectly hit the middle of that on rocks and got punctures from it. This happened November 25 2014 and I still can t feel the skin, bending it or twisting in a certain manner is extremely painful but I can walk and put weight on it, only not for long. I also cannot fully bend it back to where my heel touches my rear. It just stops. Did I tear the muscle?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to injury to peroneal nerve . A physical examination should be done by an orthopedician to rule out that and a X ray should be taken if needed to rule out any hair line fracture. NSAIDs , ice pack application and immobilisation in case of fracture will be helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks
