Suggest Treatment For Pain Under Lower Part Of The Ribs

Hi, I have a pain under the lower part of my left ribs, it started yesterday and felt like a knot at first and now it is just a pain not severe but constant. I am a female in good health 65 years old. I take Crestor each day an asterix each day plus a premerin every second day.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion we need to rule out cardiac cause first for your left sided chest pain, as you are old age plus taking antihypertensive drugs.
So better to rule cardiac cause. Get done ECG. If this is normal than no need to worry much for cardiac cause.
I think you are having musculoskeletal cause for your chest pain.
So try to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavy weight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid bad postures in sleep.
3. Avoid movement s causing pain.
4. Start good painkiller and muscle relaxant.
5. Apply warm water pad on affected site.
