Suggest Treatment For Painful And Pus Filled Pimple On The Genitals

I just popped something that appeared to be a large pimple on my bottom. Popping it was slightly painful. Brownish yellow pus came out, following some blood. When I squeezed the area around it, it felt like a hard ball. The hard ball feeling has been there for a few months, but there has never been pus or slight pain while sitting until today. What might it be and what treatment should I seek?

Hello and welcome.

This is most probably an abscess which has resulted, the cause for the same could vary but in my opinion the most likely cause could be poor hygiene or an irritate hair follicle.

The pus and blood is proof of this being infected and so I would have preferred if you would not have popped it, but as you have done the same already it would be best to also be covered by antibiotics so please try to get in touch with your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
