Suggest Treatment For Painful And Swollen Toe After Injury

Thinking i broke 2nd & 3rd toe last night. Kind of jammed them on deck stairs. Extreme pain at base of both toes shooting up through foot at times, however there is no bruising and very minimal swelling. Not sure if buddy taping is the right answer. If i do buddy tape, how do I go about since its 2 toes?

First you need to do a xray to rule out any fracture....coz buddy strapping is not the answer to every fracture of the toes...however it is useful in many of them....
