Suggest Treatment For Painful Hard Lump After An Injury
Hi, I walked into a coffee table coming up to two weeks ago & there was a big bruise where I'd hit it, I've noticed that for the past week there's a hard lump the size of a 50p coin & it hurts to touch it. Is this just anything more than a simple bruise etc?
Dear Sir/ Mam, Considering the mode of injury (trivial trauma) , I feel that its a hematoma ( collection of blood ) just below the tissue. Usually such hematomas take 2 weeks to recover. Till then I suggest you give them lots of cold compress and rest. Hope this has helped you.
