Hello there Thanks for your post on HealthcareMagic. I carefully read your query and understand your point of concern.
After incision and drainage of an abscess sometimes stitch needed for apposition. Because of your pregnancy doctor avoid to give any systemic pain killer as it can harm your baby.
But you can use local pain killer like diclofenac gel or naproxen gel which will help you to reduce the pain. Eat adequate protein, fresh vegetables and fruits which will augment wound healing. Apply cold compression for soothing effect.
If no improvement occur then visit your doctor for further treatment.
Hope it will help you. Wish your good health. Regards Dr. Atiqul
