Suggest Treatment For Painful Pimples On Hands And Thighs
Hello! Sir my name is Mohit tripathi ,a 18 years old , (veg) student . I feel so uncomfortable in moving my right hand ,bcz on my under arm there are 8 to 10 pimples which never ends, in place they stop when i use amoxiline capsule and after few day they again show there pain and puss . The same problem is between both of my thigh joining . I always maintain cleanness in these areas but they never ends . I am taking amoxiline capsules since 2 months & there is no sign of end . so, please advice me what i should do ..........
Response to amoxicillin indicates these are boils- bacterial infection of skin. Recurrence is because of carrier state- these bacteria sometimes colonises around axillae, groin, umbilicus and nostrils (warm and moist areas). In such recurrent cases, for my patients I advise them to apply antibiotic creams like mupirocin in these areas, twice daily for 7-10 days to get rid off the bacteria. This when done along with the oral antibiotics course gives consistent result. Meanwhile, keep the said areas always clean and dry. Taking a bath twice daily is also advises. Avoid using talcum powder.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
