Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So I went to lift my son today and felt a pop on my wrist , close to the palm and instantly turned blue , hot , warm and now tonight its black in colour. Just thought nothing of it but now as I put my son to bed I leaned on the other wrist (left) and it hurt and got very warm and just slightly blue That a concern?
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have got sprain both wrists . Treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen. Icing is helpful in reducing swelling . You can get your x-ray and MRI done to further investigate the cause. Crepe bandage can be used during day time to support the wrists. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
