Suggest Treatment For Papillary Thyroid Cancer

Hi, I am a 37 yr old woman who had a total thyroidectomy in 2012, due to papillary thyroid cancer. A few months ago I noticed that I had a lump on the right side of my neck (just above my collar bone). I had an ultrasound done of the supracavicular fossa and it showed that I have a enlarged lymph node

Hello
Good day.
Did you have a radio iodine ablation done in the past? You would need an FNAc from that lymphnode and a thyroglobulin and anti thyroglobulin level. You may also require a nuclear scan. In fact, these are done to look for reappearance of thyroid cancer in local lymphnodes and if so, they need to be removed, I hope you are undfer the care of an endocrinologist who is experienced in follow up of thyroid cancer

Binu
