Suggest Treatment For Paralyzed Left Side After Stroke

hello doctor,i am sarbani seal from kolkata.i have question about my father.my father suffered in stroke patient from 8th april 2014.he Was admitted in hospital about 22 days.his left side Was not normal.he Was paralised.after treatment of physiotherapy his left leg Was quite normal bt hand is at same position.my question 1.hoW my father Will overcomes from this problem?? 2.he talks not normal unnatural behaviour is bad and he has temper maximum time.sometimes he also heated us.hoW W ill he overcomes???

DEAR SARBANI, I UNDERSTOOD YOUR PROBLEM. I SUGGEST YOU TO BE PATIENT. THESE ALL CHANGES ARE EXPECTED. Generally hand function will come late but by regular exercise we can achieve good hand function. Due to stroke or unexpected dependency, he might be depressed. We have to promote himself encourage more and more. Behave very gently with him. Gradually he will improve. Physiotherapy is must.
