Hello,

Peeling of skin is a sign that your skin is healing from some type of damage. Sunburns, allergies and skin diseases cause skin to peel. Skin conditions like allergies, infections or certain diseases can also cause peeling. To avoid peeling of skin you are suggested to stay hydrated. It will help to keep your skin moisturized, which can reduce overall peeling.

Since dry skin causes more peeling, you should apply moisturizer right after bathing, when the skin is still damp. This will help to lock in the moisture and prevent your skin from drying out. You can apply fragrance-free, hypoallergenic moisturizing cream or ointment. Or you can apply aloe vera to soothe a sunburn. Seek help to quit smoking as nicotine damages skin. Avoid shower and bath in hot water.

Take steps to protect yourself from sun damage. Prefer the use of a humidifier to put moisture into the air. Massage with Vitamin E oil on fingers to avoid skin peeling. Use cosmetics that do not contain harsh chemicals. Peeling should get reduced. If not then consult a dermatologist and get tests done like allergy test, blood test or skin biopsy. Your treatment will depend on the pathology diagnosed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
