if my 56 year old father is having some symptoms of peripheral neuropathy and he is NOT a diabetic.....is that possible? He used to be Big into weight lifting when he was 22. His joints do pop a lot but he is in great shape. He is 6 1 and weighs 180 lbs.

But first of all let me know exactly what symptoms he is having , so that I will decide whether it's peripheral neuropathy or not . If it's peripheral neuropathy then he needs to get Nerve conduction study of his lower limbs and Serum Vitamin B12 levels .

Common among them are Alcohol intake , Vitamin B12 deficiency , Chronic ingestion of heavy metals , etc .
