Suggest Treatment For Permanent Bumps After Mosquito Bites

I ve had quite a few mosquito bites leave permanent little bumps where the bite occurred. This started happening over the past few years and is occurring more frequently now. This never happened when I was younger. I m told I can have them removed, but then I will have scars. Is there no other option and other than not getting bitten, are there other ways to prevent these bumps from forming?
