Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cold With Nostrils Dripping

hi, I am a 30 years old housewife. I have been suffering with cold like symptoms for more than 10 years. my nostrils suddenly start dripping. i have to blow and clean my nose to be able to breathe. i have been taking a tablet named CZ3 . but its effect lasts for 48 hours. the situation gets worsened during summers. please help me.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain it seems like Sinus infection leading to sinusitis and as due to inflammation of the sinus lining there can be secretion of inflammatory exudate as well as there can be mucous accumulation in the sinuses and as the sinuses drains from nose the fluid from sinuses comes out from nose and feeling of cold like symptoms can be due to nasal dripping and congestion..
It can be due to allergies, sinus infection caused by bacteria or sinus polyp..
You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a PNS VIEW x ray or an MRI Scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
For infections antibiotics can relieve..
Allergies can be treated with antiallergics like Levocetrizine [this you are already taking] and others like benadryl.
Sinus polyp needs surgical removal..
As of now you can take steroid nasal sprays, do steam inhalations and saline irrigations..
