Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough Along With Choking Sensation
I drank some Thera-flu early this morning at work doing a double shift & a bit went down the wrong pipe. Ever since, my windpipe/trachea has not cleared up & coughing hasn t worked. I m concerned because I do not want to risk acquiring pneumonia due to aspiration. I am also getting over a cold as well, hence me drinking Thera-flu. Should I just head to the ENT infirmary after I leave work tonight?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood the history. With the history of thera-flu syrup going down the trachea (windpipe), and the coughing not helping you, you should rush to the ENT infirmary now. Not after the work. This can be a serious problem as you already have symptoms of flu like cold. Till them take deep breathing. Stop working and call for an ambulance.
