Suggest Treatment For Persistent Headaches

Continuing headaches one week after propofol. Disabling migraine 8 hours after anesthesia. ER gave Lortab and nitroglycerin. CT scan clear. Prior meds sertraline/levothyroxine. Never suffered with headaches before. Have tried ibuprofen, aspirin, caffeine , naproxen, resting, . nothing has helped.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since you are already on sertraline, possibility of stress and anxiety related headache is more.
Propofol used in anesthesia can worsen underlying psychiatric illness.
So in my opinion, you should consult your psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
You may need additional anxiolytic drugs too.
Counselling along with anxiolytic drugs are very useful.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks
